The Obsidian Tempest is a powerful katana with dark elegance and tactical feel. The black saya (sword scabbard) is treated with a high-gloss lacquer and subtly decorative groove patterns that catch the light in an effective way.
The blade is forged from T10 carbon steel with genuine hamon , which provides both strength and sharpness. The construction is robust throughout and made for function as well as aesthetics.
The handle is hand-wrapped with black cotton and features genuine Stingray (samegawa) under the wrap. The tsuba is made of black zinc alloy and designed with a chain pattern, a subtle yet powerful statement.
