The blade is hand-forged from T10 carbon steel with visible Hamon (hardening line), which provides increased hardness and a unique appearance. Full tang construction ensures maximum stability and durability when handling.
The matte-colored Sayan (sheath) has a unique pattern with a high-quality finish, giving the sword a distinct and raw feel. The handle is wrapped with black/brown cotton over genuine stingray skin (samegawa), which provides both an authentic grip and a stylish finish. Brass and copper fittings with dragon motifs give a luxurious impression. Both the kojiri (end), kurigata, and koiguchi (mouthpiece) are reinforced with genuine cow horn, which provides both elegance and durability.
