FAQ
Are the swords really sharp?
Yes. All our katanas are fully functional and come with a sharp blade. They are not toys or wall decorations, but forged from real carbon steel for real use. Always handle with care.
Are all swords handmade?
Yes. Our katanas are hand-forged from T10 carbon steel with individual hamon. Handles, windings and scabbards are made and assembled by hand, making each sword unique.
What does it mean that the sword is “full tang”?
Full tang means that the blade comes in one piece and goes all the way through the handle. This makes the sword usable. Without a full tang you only have a decorative object, a so-called "wall hanger".
What is the difference between your different models?
All our katanas are forged with the same basic quality (carbon steel, full tang, hand-wrapped grip, genuine stingray leather). The differences lie in the design, type of carbon steel, hamon style, color scheme, choice of material for the saya and fittings, and sometimes details such as cow horn inlays.
How do I take care of my katana?
Always store the blade dry. Oil the blade regularly with light machine oil or blade oil to prevent rust. Avoid touching the bar with bare hands as moisture from the skin can cause corrosion.
Can I give a katana as a gift?
Absolutely. Our swords come with a protective cloth, sword stand and are carefully packaged. They make excellent gifts for collectors, history buffs or anyone who appreciates unique items.
Do you have to be 18 years old to buy?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a sharp sword from us. By completing a purchase, you certify that you are of legal age.
Do you ship outside the EU?
Yes, we ship worldwide.
Can I return a sword?
We offer a 14-day return policy on in-stock items marked as “In Stock”, provided the sword is unused and in original condition.
Does the return policy apply to “Forged to Order” swords?
No.
Swords marked as “Forged to Order” or "Pre-Order" are manufactured specifically for you once the order is placed. These items are made-to-order and are therefore exempt from the right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection regulations.
Once production has begun, the order becomes binding and cannot be cancelled or returned.
This also applies to swords with:
- Custom blade dimensions
