The Amazing Flames Tanto is a powerful premium tanto forged from T10 steel and traditionally clay-hardened to highlight a vibrant and dynamic hamon. The blade's organic, smoke-like pattern runs along the blade and creates a dramatic contrast to the mirror-polished edge. Each blade has a unique expression, no two are exactly alike. This is a tanto that combines traditional craftsmanship, modern precision and aesthetic poise.
Blade
This blade is advanced clay-hardened with Hitatsura hamon , one of the most complex and unusual hardening lines in traditional Japanese swordsmithing.
Unlike more controlled and linear hamon patterns, Hitatsura covers large areas of the blade's surface with irregular, dramatic hardening spots. The result is a vibrant and almost chaotic pattern where hardened steel and softer core interact in an artistic expression.
Tsuba & Tsuka
The handle is covered in genuine stingray leather (samegawa) and hand-wrapped with durable cotton for a stable grip and authentic feel. The tsuba is made of copper with gold and silver tone details, providing a subtle yet exclusive metallic contrast.
Saya
The Saya is made of solid wood and lacquered in a deep, intense red tone. The high-gloss finish enhances the sword's visual strength and gives it a sophisticated overall impression.
