The hand-carved saya (scabbard) is adorned with an intricate octopus motif, making this katana a unique work of art with strong traditional influences. The tsuba and other fittings are crafted from brass and copper with exceptional detail, including a hand-cast dragon in gold and silver tones. The tsuka-ito (handle wrapping) is made of luxurious suede for enhanced grip and an authentic style.
