The Candy Cane Wakizashi is a visually striking wakizashi with a dark, patterned blade and distinctive red details in the seven that give the sword its name. The blade is made of industrial folded steel with a baked blue finish, which creates a vibrant, wavy pattern in red and blue across the blade's surface.
This sword is not traditionally differentially hardened and therefore does not have a hamon.
The handle is wrapped with black cotton over genuine stingray leather (samegawa) for a stable and comfortable grip.
The tsuba and other fittings are made of copper , the habaki of brass, with a detailed surface structure that provides both weight, balance and a warm metallic expression that contrasts nicely with the dark blade.
The black lacquered wooden saya is decorated with red accent lines that enhance the sword's distinctive and aggressive aesthetic.
