The Clout Killa Tanto is a compact and uncompromising tantō with a clear presence and aggressive aesthetics. The blade is made of T10 steel and is differentially hardened through traditional clay hardening , which gives a true hamon where each blade has a unique pattern.
This blade is advanced clay-hardened with Hitatsura hamon, one of the most complex and unusual hardening lines in traditional Japanese swordsmithing.
Unlike more controlled and linear hamon patterns, Hitatsura covers large areas of the blade's surface with irregular, dramatic hardening spots. The result is a vibrant and almost chaotic pattern where hardened steel and softer core interact in an artistic expression.
The handle is wrapped with black cotton over genuine stingray leather (samegawa) for a stable grip in a compact format.
The tsuba and other fittings are made of copper , the habaki is made of brass with detailed engraving and a clear weight that contributes to both balance and a premium feel. The tsuba has a powerful design that harmonizes with the aggressive character of the tantō.
The black lacquered wooden saya is decorated with a subtle dragon motif and black lace details that enhance the overall impression without being overdone.
