The Dragon Snow Wakizashi is an elegant and balanced wakizashi with a cool, bright blade expression that contrasts with a deep black saya decorated with a detailed dragon motif. The sword is made of industrial folded steel.
This sword is not traditionally differentially hardened and therefore does not have a hamon.
The handle is wrapped with dark blue cotton over genuine stingray leather (samegawa), which provides a stable grip and a sober, classic expression.
The tsuba and other fittings are made of brass , the habaki is made of brass with detailed relief and a dark patinated finish that harmonizes with the dragon theme and gives the sword an elegant but powerful appearance.
The black lacquered wooden saya is richly decorated with a silver/white dragon motif, which gives the sword its name and a clear visual focus.
