Electric Flames is a wakizashi made from T10 high carbon steel and has undergone advanced clay hardening, which results in a visible and unique hitatsura hamon pattern along the blade. The combination of material, heat treatment and assembly results in a sword with a distinct visual expression.
The handle (tsuka) is wrapped with brown suede ito over black samegawa (stingrock leather) . The wrapping is tight and follows a traditional diamond pattern. The fittings are in copper with a classic expression.
The saya (scabbard) is made of lacquered wood with a black base finish and decorative red lightning bolt style crack pattern .
The habaki on the Electric Flames wakizashi in stock does not come with dragonly engraving.
