Petalfall is a katana with a softer and more poetic expression, where nature-inspired details meet clear craftsmanship. The sword combines decorative elements with traditional heat treatment and is intended for collection, display or controlled use by experienced users.
Blade
The blade is forged from T10 high-carbon steel with a hardness of around 60 HRC.
The blade has two distinct visual structures :
Along the edge runs a genuine hamon in an X-pattern , produced by clay hardening. The hamon line is clear and graphic, with natural variations.
Along the back side (mune) there is a stone pattern, a decorative surface finish created by forging and grinding. This pattern is visual and not part of the heat treatment.
Tsuba + Tsuka
The tsuba is richly decorated in gold-colored copper with nature motifs that harmonize with the overall theme of the sword. The design is softer and more organic than on more aggressive models.
The handle (tsuka) is wrapped with black ito over genuine stingray leather, in a traditional diamond pattern. The fittings are made of copper with decorative details that enhance the elegant and balanced expression.
Saya
The Sayan is made of lacquered wood with a black base finish , decorated with hand-painted floral and plant motifs in muted colors. The motifs provide a clear nature theme and contrast with the technical details of the blade.
Sageo is dark with subtle color accents and tied in a classic style, adapted to the color scheme of the sayan.
