Silent Priest
The Silent Priest is a high-quality katana forged from T10 steel with genuine hamon and blood groove (bohi). The blade is carefully differentiated hardened according to traditional Japanese methods, giving each sword its own unique hardening line.
The saya (scabbard) is made of solid wood with visible grain and a naturally oiled finish, a celebration of the aesthetic of simplicity. The kurigata is carved from cow horn, and the sageon is thickly woven in ivory and yellow, giving a luxurious yet understated look.
The handle is wrapped in cream cotton with classic hineri-maki over genuine white stingray leather (samegawa). The menuki, fuchi, kashira and tsuba are coordinated in a floral motif with intricate details in gold, silver and copper. Flowers in relief are found on both the kashira and fuchi, giving the sword a visual symbolism of life and death, silence and power.
