Velvet Eclipse

A sophisticated and dreamlike katana where elegance meets precision. Velvet Eclipse is forged from T10 steel with genuine hamon and blood groove (bohi). The blade has been polished to a mirror-like finish with a clear temper pattern and a razor-sharp edge. Blackened saya with a stardust-like glitter effect gives the impression of a cosmic glow against a pitch-black background, hence the name.

Fittings and details:

The tsuba is decorative and well-balanced in a traditional style. The habakin is adorned with a subtle brass leaf motif. The handle is wrapped in blue and gold cotton over black genuine stingray leather (samegawa), a powerful contrast that both looks exclusive and offers a strong grip. The metal menukin are discreetly recessed under the wrapping. The sword is well-balanced, smooth and functional, ready for both display and practical use.
